Marrakech is a year round city.  Whilst winter evenings can be cold, a week’s stay (even in December) will normally give three days of bright sunshine and temperatures in the low 20s. You are likely to get some rain at some point in your visit. Here, where the Atlas Mountains hit the Sahara Desert, rain keeps the area lush and green.

Spring and autumn are perfect for sightseeing. In summer, you will want to spend the middle of the day near a pool. Temperatures in August can reach the high 30s. However, it is not usually humid or uncomfortable. You can also escape to the cooler mountains or the Atlantic coast.

Morocco is one of the few places in the world where you can be lying by a pool sunbathing, whilst seeing people carrying their skis, freshly off the nearby slopes!
